Printing a Chart of Accounts List

It is helpful to have a copy of your chart of accounts handy so that you can refer to the chart when assigning accounts to business transactions. Use these steps to print a copy of your chart of accounts.

Do you want to exclude accounts with zero balances on your printed account list? See the "Printing" information in the "Troubleshooting" section at the end of this chapter.

  1. Open the Chart of Accounts window by choosing Lists, Chart of Accounts (or by pressing Ctrl+A), and then click the Re_ports button at the bottom of the Chart of Accounts window.

  2. Choose Account Listing from the resulting menu. A report of your entire list of accounts appears onscreen.

  3. Print the report by clicking the Print button that appears at the top of the report window (or press Ctrl+P or Alt+T).
