5.0 out of 5 stars Informative and witty!, July 23, 2009

This review is from: All a Twitter: A Personal and Professional Guide to Social Networking with Twitter (Paperback)
I'm not a big fan of tech books. My eyes tend to blur as authors bombard me with fact after fact and it takes me several readings to get all that dry information straight.
This book is different. Tee Morris has written a book that feels like a friend is showing you around Twitter, complete with tips and pitfalls (love the 'Little Birdie told me' and 'Fail Whale says').
There is a lot more to this social media craze than is immediately apparent, and I can only hope plenty of people read this book and have their eyes opened to all the ways Twitter can work for them. This is the book that I will be putting in front of our computer manager so that he has some idea of 'this Twitter thing.'

5.0 out of 5 stars Good info, fast read, October 3, 2009

I don't usually read these types of books - I like to read for fun. But guess what, this book IS fun. I have been on Twitter for about 6 months and this answered some questions I had as well as giving me new information on compatible applications, building a network and "twetiquette". I'm not using all that Twitter has to offer just yet so will keep this book around for future reference.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you are going to tweet, read this book!, August 29, 2009
This review is from: All a Twitter: A Personal and Professional Guide to Social Networking with Twitter (Paperback)
If you have been contemplating jumping on to Twitter for the first time, if you're a long term Twitter user (hello, my name is Gary and I'm a tweetaholic) or if you have ever been put into the situation where someone asks you to explain Twitter, you should immediately purchase All a Twitter.

As several of the other reviews have mentioned, although All a Twitter contains all of pertinent information a new user will need, it also is extremely valuable for an experienced user as well. (I especially liked the chapter on Twitter clients) All a Twitter even contains advice on how to make Tweeting from your phone an entirely enjoyable experience.

And maybe most importantly to me, (as also mentioned previously) this book does not read like a textbook. The author obviously knows what he is talking about, but is not above having fun with his intended audience.

Extremely well written and exceedingly informative, All a Twitter is definitely a must for anyone... Read more
