Microsoft Expression Web 4 LiveLessons (Video Training)

I have been trying to get my head around developing a web page. HTML, CSS, tags open and close, proper code, I have found it draining to say the least.

Microsoft helped out with their Expression Studio Web 4 Professional software. But I have been reading books and working through examples but it is slow going and I am struggling to make the link between what is on the written page and what it is actually doing on the web page.

And then EXPRESSION WEB 4 LIVELESSONS ARRIVED!!!

It is much easier to follow. Morten Rand-Hendriken knows his subject and does a great job showing me how it works. I am finding it easier to watch as Morten does his magic in front of me, while describing how he is doing it using Expression Web 4 and immediately seeing what the end result is on the page using video.

This is even more enlightening when learning and working with CSS.

Very clear and concise instructions. I purchased the video, along with a book, to evaluate MS Expression Web 4. The reviews on MS Expression Web 4 have been very mixed with one of the more positive feedbackss being, "better than Expression Web 3." The video has made me feel a little better about purchasing either the Ultimate or Profession version. I'm trying to determine if I need the Ultimate or if I can make due with the Professional. Great video!

The version I received during early December, 2010 does not include practice files for Lessons 7-15. This appears to be an excellent product, but, on the edition I received at least, this omission prevents you from using it. I have notify the author, QUE Publishing, and Amazon about this problem. Watch this space, as I will update it once I know the problem is solved.
