5.0 out of 5 stars Web 2.0 Treasure, March 6, 2012
This review is from: My Evernote (Paperback)
My Evernote is filled with tips and tricks to fully use all the functionality in this web 2.0 tool. Each chapter is color coded to easily find the information you seek. Lots of color splashed across the pages with illustrations containing numbers to show graphically the various components. If you want to do something with Evernote you will be able to easily find out how to do it with this book. I teach high school students and I can see many applications after going through this book. There is so much more depth to this tool than I ever would have found out on my own. Highly recommended.

I want to thank Lisa Jacobson-Brown @ Pearson for a review copy of this book.

First, Evernote is a nice little free app to help organize your life. It's easy to use and it syncs on all your devices. There is an online component so you can access it from any computer with Internet access.

Evernote is not difficult to use if are at all computer savvy. But when given the opportunity to look at the book, I thought it would be loaded with the things I couldn't figure out on my own. I'm not sure that's true, but I did learn some things from the book that saved me some digging around time in the Evernote Forum. This is a very slick book btw. The pages are thick and glossy. It's full of pictures and easy to use.

The book covers the very basics of downloading, making notes and editing them. I hadn't intended to use Evernote for anything but keeping myself organized across devices, but it's got potential to do more along the lines of word processing and... Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars My <Evernote> Review, April 17, 2012
Katherine Murray sure did her research for this book and I did find it very useful. Evernote is a great APP and application for virtually all platforms. However it is partly difficult to use because of the variety of hardware it can run on. Katherine covers these oddities as well. Mostly Mac and PC differences as well as things that cannot be accomplished on the APPs. The pictures and diagrams are helpful and well placed and the wording is not above anyones head. If you have used Evernote a little and need/want to know what else you can do with it - I would highly recommend this book.
