I had a Galaxy Tab and I can confirm this book is a great addition if you have or are looking to get the Galaxy Tab. It is essentially the instruction manual that should have came pre-loaded on the device as an e-Book if not as a paper book in the box. It does a great job explaining the features of the Tab and walking you through basic operations along with a lot of high quality color pictures. For anyone new to the Galaxy Tab world this would be beneficial, if you've had other tablets of the android variety you could probably skip on this.

Samsung's line of tablet computers Galaxy Tab is probably the best known and the widest used line of "true" Android tablets. (Amazon's Kindle Fire line uses a heavily modified version of Android.) These are very versatile and well designed tablets that can serve a multiplicity of your everyday needs - listening to music, accessing online videos, checking and composing e-mail, creating various forms of original content. In order to get the most out of your Galaxy Tab, a detailed book of instructions can really come in handy."My Samsung Galaxy Tab" covers two different versions of this device: Galaxy Tab 7.0 and galaxy Tab 10.1. The first one of these runs the 2.2 version of Android called Froyo, while the 10.1 Galaxy Tab runs the version 3.1 called Honeycomb. There are many essential similarities between the two versions, but whenever there are the differences between the two this book will clearly spell those out. This is one of the more comprehensive user... Read more

I am so not a tech person. When I was in the market for a tablet I spent weeks researching, trying to figure which one would be best for me. I have mostly been an Apple girl but after messing with the Ipads some family members had, I decided I wanted something different and maybe a bit superior. So I went with the Galaxy 2.I thought it would be a fairly easy operation to figure out. I mean, I had no problems switching from a Microsoft OS laptop to a Mac. I got the Galaxy out of the box and I might as well have BEEN in a different Galaxy. I understood nothing. So, thankfully, I was able to get the My Galaxy Tab 2 book from Amazon. Upon opening it immediately made me feel more secure and less anxious about learning the features of my new tablet. The chapters are broken down via categories and then sub-categories. Knowing I could start at the very beginning of the book and tackle each chapter in my own time was reassuring but it was also great to... Read more |
