To help prevent iPhone theft, iKeep announced an extendable, keychain-like device that attaches from a belt loop or purse strap to the iPhone and generates an alarm if the connection is severed. The iKeep device also doubles as an iPhone battery charger.

Meanwhile, for iPhone users who want a truly customized leather case that has one of their own photos imprinted on it, Snaptotes offered a selection of iPhone cases, covers, and skins that can be ordered online with any digital image imprint. The company also offers custom-imprinted leather iPad cases and sleeves.

Using FileMaker Go or Bento for the iPhone, it's possible to create custom form apps. Widget Press introduced another option, called FormEntry, for creating and using custom forms and databases on the iPhone. This Mac-based software package allows users to create form and database templates in minutes, which can then be utilized on an iPhone for customized and specialized applications. The software ranges in price from $99 to $4,999, depending on the configuration.
